NEET RESULT OUT
Overview
The National Testing
Agency (NTA) has declared the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
(NEET-UG) 2021. In this year, three candidates got all India rank (AIR) 1 with a score of
720/720 marks and the names are Mrinal Kutteri, Tanmay Gupta and Karthika G
Nair. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result at
neet.nta.nic.in.
This year, a total of
15.44 lakh candidates had appeared for the medical entrance exam, of which,
around 8.70 lakh have qualified. As many as eight transgender candidates have
also cleared the examination. Congratulation to all the qualified students and also pray for the non-qualified students to clear the exam in the next time.
Category-wise cut-off marks
The cut-off marks for
the General and EWS category has been set between 720-138. The cut-off for OBC,
SC and ST is 137-108. Similarly, the qualifying marks range for General/ EWS
PwD candidates is 137-122 as against 146-129 in 2020.
How to check NEET Result
Candidates who wish to
check and download NEET 2021 cut-off in the scorecard, may follow the steps
below.
Step 1: Go to the official
website neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Locate the link
for the result and click on it.
Step 3: Access login by
entering roll number and date of birth.
Step 4: Download NEET
2021 scorecard from the dashboard.
Step 5: Take print out for future references.
What after the NEET 2021 Result?
Admission to MBBS, BDS,
AYUSH, BVSc and AH courses will be offered on the basis of NEET 2021 scores.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the centralised counselling
for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in the online mode. The counselling schedule
will be released soon. Candidates will have to get registered for NEET
counselling within the due dates.

Documents needed during NEET-UG 2021 counselling
The counselling rounds
will begin soon, students need to keep the following documents ready in
advance. These will be required to be uploaded while applying for counselling
as well as while document verification at colleges.
- Admit cards of NEET 2021
- Results of the NEET 2021 or rank letter
- Class 10 pass certificate
- Class 12 pass certificate
- Government-issued photo ID
- Passport size photos
- Caste certificate, if applicable
