Vacancy details

Initially, a total of 108 suitable candidates will be appointed for the post of Assistant Professor Grade-2 and Assistant Professor Grade-1 on contract basis.

Salary Details

As per official notice, Assistant Professor Grade-II will get Rs.70,900/-, assistant Professor Grade-II will get Rs.73,100/- and assistant Professor Grade-I will get Rs.10,1500/- .

Educational Qualification

All Engineering Departments, B.Tech/BE or any other equivalent degree in the relevant discipline and M.Tech/ME/MS or any equivalent degree in relevant discipline. For computer application, MCA may also be considered.

For Humanities/ Management/ Applied Science: BA/BSc/BCom or any equivalent undergraduate degree and MA/MSc/MCom/MBA or any equivalent PG degree in relevant discipline.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of scrutiny of applications for eligibility of applicants as per Gazetted notification 24/07/2017 schedule E, Statute 23(5)(A), shortlisting of eligible applicants based on their credit point score and research/ academic performance, followed by presentation and interview.

Application Fee

General candidates have to pay Rs. 1200 as application fee. Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / PWDs and female candidates will not be charged any application fee. Overseas Citizen of India cardholders will have to pay USD $ 50 as application fee.
