Overview

West Bengal Postal Department has published the recruitment notification. You can apply for the posts only if you have passed secondary school. These personnel will be posted in the post divisions of different districts of the state. The divisions to be recruited are East Kolkata Division, Barasat Division, Nadia South Division, Cooch Behar Division. Educational Qualification

Secondary or 10th pass from any recognized board or university.
Preference will be given to Life Insurance policy, ideas about marketing skills and work experience in computer.

Age Limit

As on 01/08/2020, Applicant’s age should be within 18 to 50 years for the post of direct agent in various postal Department. The upper age limit is relaxed up to a maximum of 5 years for Unreserved/OBC candidates, 10 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.

Salary

As per official notification, there is no fixed fee in these posts. If you sell various insurance and policies of Indian Postal Department, you will get commission at a fixed rate. In this case, even if there is no fixed salary, if the rate of policy sale is higher, the amount of commission will also be higher.

No application fee has to be paid.

How to Apply

In this case you do not have to apply separately. You have to appear at the specified address on the day of the interview with all your documents. Recruitment will be done through direct interview.
