Qualification & Experience Required

Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Must possess Civilian Driving license for heavy vehicles from DTO/RTO and have two years of experience of driving such vehicles

Vehicle Mechanic: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Capable of reading number and names of tools and vehicles both in English and Hindi. One year experience of his trade. Capable of carrying out standard repairs of heavy vehicles).

Fireman: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipment’s, fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches. Must be familiar with the use and maintenance, first-aid, firefighting, appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.

 Labourer: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.

Carpenter: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board and should have the knowledge of carpentry.

Physical fitness

Fireman: Height without shoes :165 cms, provided that a concession of 2.5 cms in height

shall be allowed for members of the Scheduled Tribes, Chest (un-expanded): 81.5 cm, Chest (on-expansion): 85 cms, Weight: 50 Kgs

Recruitment Process

There will be a written test and physical, practical test, candidates have to score minimum 33% marks in written exam which will be conducted by the board.  Candidate also has to provide physical fitness certificate.

(c) Discharge Certificate where applicable (for Ex-serviceman).

(d) Birth Certificate issued by Birth / Death Registrar or Matriculation certificate issued by Education Board.

(e) Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence issued by DTO/RTO (for Civilian Motor Driver (OG) post only).

(f) Domicile Certificate.

(g) Aadhaar Card

(h) Experience certificate

(i) A self-addressed envelope, affixing Postal Stamps of Rs.45/- along with the application required for dispatch of Acknowledgement / Admit Card.
