HS Exam Routine latest Update2021: meeting ended, wait for sealed decision

Overview

HS (Class 12) exam including multiple entrance exams have been suspended in Corona(Covid19) situtaion. In this situation, the Union ministers sat in a meeting with the state education minister and education secretaries to decide how the test is possible. The meeting was attended by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister for Child and Women's Protection Development Smriti Irani. It has been decided in the meeting that the date of examination will be started from 1st June.

The Central Board of Education brought two proposals to the meeting. First, the offer to take the test for 3 months, where the exam will be prepared for one month and the exam will be taken and the results will be published in the next two months. It was said that the test would be only on the main issues. From there the other subjects will be numbered. The other proposal said only one language and three other subjects would be tested. The issue of testing at the home center was also discussed at the meeting.

Tentative Date

In that case, the Central Board has indicated to start the examination from July 15 and to complete it by September 5. It has requested every state to send written advice by May 25 and at the same time also clarified that the health of students and teachers is first and foremost duty.
